This background in surveying comes in very handy when working out designs and also assisting to deal with the legalities of site areas etc.
As Byron Bay Drafting, I have been servicing the Byron Bay and the Northern Rivers area for many years.
Engineering is essential when designing and building to minimise costs and increase practicality, and working with architects gave me the artistic understanding behind design.

I have worked on many different projects in my time, most recently assisting in the design of the new 'Elements of Byron Resort' and also Project Managed a complete build in Beachcomber, Byron Bay - one of my most pleasing jobs to date.
I also work alongside many local businesses and can include Solar Engineers, DA Documentation and Fire Regulation within any job I do.

I was always interested design and creativity. My parents were film-makers and art gallery owners. My mother eventually becoming an interior designer.

I would be happy to recommend Byron Bay Drafting to anyone taking on a major project. We did a knockdown rebuild and Eirin did a great job of converting our concept drawings into approvable and buildable DA drawings without us having to make any negative compromises.
Eirin was very easy to work with and accommodating to our circumstance given we were in Sydney throughout the process. We are very happy with the end result of the rebuild and we constantly receive feedback from passers-by on the street about how good they think the house looks.

Working with Eirin at Byron Bay drafting was a very positive experience.
From the outset, Eirin's laid back Byron approach made the process of drafting, and more importantly design, a very collaborative experience. In discussions Eirin and I would know the lingo and understand the construction process, where as my wife needed a visual representation of what we were trying to achieve. Enter Eirin's 3D design renders and the decision process from there was far easier to achieve.
His patience was much appreciated and his knowledge of the area, attention to aspect and appreciating individual taste was excellent. In all it was a huge success from design to DA approval and at a price point that was fair and transparent along the journey.
